Island Village Set to Host Inaugural Jamaica Fashion Week in Ocho Rios, November 19-22, 2026

Island Village in Ocho Rios is preparing to become the centre of Jamaica’s fashion spotlight this November as it welcomes the inaugural staging of Jamaica Fashion Week, scheduled for November 19–22, 2026. The four-day international fashion experience, being staged in collaboration with the Jamaica Fashion Council, will bring designers, models, fashion enthusiasts, creatives, industry stakeholders and visitors together at one of Ocho Rios’ most recognizable entertainment and lifestyle destinations.

For Island Village General Manager Andrew Reid, hosting Jamaica Fashion Week represents an exciting opportunity to create a new kind of experience for both residents and visitors while positioning the Village as a dynamic destination for fashion, culture and entertainment. Reid said he immediately recognized the potential of the partnership and agreed to have Island Village serve as the host location.

“I’m inviting persons to get involved and be here at Island Village for what promises to be an international fashion experience like no other,” noted Reid.

According to Reid, the partnership is a win-win for both Island Village and the Jamaica Fashion Council, particularly because it allows the Village to become part of the development of a new fashion platform from the ground level.

“We’re getting in on the ground level with the Jamaica Fashion Council for this concept and our venue moves away from the usual style and I know our ambience will lend itself to boosting the fashion experience,” he noted.

A Unique Setting for Fashion

The selection of Island Village as the host venue offers Jamaica Fashion Week an environment that is distinctly different from the traditional fashion-show setting.

Located in the heart of Ocho Rios, the Village provides an open, vibrant and versatile backdrop that can accommodate the creative energy associated with fashion while giving patrons access to the destination’s mix of dining, shopping, entertainment and leisure experiences. Reid believes that this combination will enhance the overall appeal of Jamaica Fashion Week.

“The location at Island Village is an ideal space for such a creative escapade,” he said.

He expects patrons visiting the Village during Jamaica Fashion Week to embrace the opportunity to experience fashion while enjoying the variety of businesses and attractions already operating at the destination.

“We have a unique combination of partners here at Island Village who will add to the vibe,” Reid explained. “Whether it’s Jacana, Devon House Ice Cream, Pure Chocolate, Pizza Please, Starbucks or Andy’s Jerk, there is so much to offer to children and adults.”

The partnership therefore promises to extend beyond the runway, creating an experience that can appeal to families, tourists, fashion followers and members of the wider Ocho Rios community.

Putting Ocho Rios on the Fashion Map

The inaugural Jamaica Fashion Week is also expected to contribute to the growing profile of St. Ann as a destination for major cultural, creative and entertainment events.

With fashion, entertainment, food and tourism converging in one location, Island Village is positioning itself as more than a host venue and it is set to become part of the Jamaica Fashion Week experience.

As the countdown begins, Reid is encouraging both residents and visitors to mark their calendars for November 19–22 and make Island Village the destination of choice this Fall.

For four days, Ocho Rios will offer a different kind of fashion experience: one where Jamaican creativity meets an international outlook against the backdrop of one of the island’s premier tourism destinations.

Jamaica Fashion Week 2026 is coming to Island Village. And, according to Reid, this Fall, Island Village is the place to be.
